At Emmanuel, we believe that students are not just the future of the church - they are the present as well. Everything we do in our student ministry is aimed at equipping young men and women to grow in their faith. We want them to know, love, and serve Christ in the here and now. We have weekly gatherings as well as special events planned throughout the year to give students regular opportunities to grow in their faith, strengthen a sense of community, serve the world around them, and have fun in the process. All middle school and high school students are welcome to attend.
Parents, check out our Parents Blog for helpful articles and other resources on parenting and family life.
Sunday Mornings @ 9:15 - We gather in the Student Center (2nd floor) for announcements, prayer, and a short lesson intro before Sunday School. We have a Sunday School class for Youth Girls, Middle School Boys, and High School Boys.
Wednesday Nights @ 5:30 - Students meet in the Hang Out from 5:30 – 7:30, playing ping-pong, shooting pool, and studying scripture together. During the school year, we balance large-group sermons with small-group, application-based discussion groups. At other times, we come together for group discussion. In all of it, our goal is to point students to Christ, the founder and perfecter of our faith, and to equip them to make Him known.
Sunday Nights - During the school year, students are invited to the Hudson's every Sunday night from 4:45 - 6:45 to hang out and study the bible. High School students are invited to attend a multigenerational home group meeting in the home of Luke and Amanda Brewer every Sunday Night from 6:00 - 8:00 for a meal, fellowship, and bible study. Throughout the year, we have many different events scheduled. From summer camp to D-NOW Weekend, Movie and Game Nights, these are great opportunities to get plugged in.
